Go to the South Carolina Farmer’s Market and buy a big watermelon. If it is too much to eat make lemonade and cool it with frozen watermelon ice cubes.
Seeds can be fun! Just imagine your claim to fame by winning a Watermelon Seed Spittin’ 
Contest. Tape or draw a line to stand behind to spit the seeds. Use small die and give each contestant a number. Use the die to mark where each seed lands. Measure distances from the line to the seeds.
Cut watermelon into cubes, place on a sheet tray wrapped in plastic wrap and freeze cubes for a few hours or until completely frozen. Store the frozen cubes in a Ziploc bag. Taste great in iced teas and lemonade. They flavor your drinks rather than dilute and as they thaw you can eat them.
